Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Office partitioning serves a number of functional office requirements as well as being stylish to look at partitioning can be used to create room dividers so a large space can be used by splitting the space up into smaller discreet offices.

There are a number of different finishes that ICD offer for office partitioning which include solid partitions, glazed partitions, and full glazed partitions. This can include single or double glazed and we can complete the styling touch by having integrated remote blinds within the window.

Office partition systems can be used in a variety of combinations to suit your budget requirements. From having full solid partitions, half solid/half glass to full glass.
Framed glass partitions are currently very popular and are constructed from framed aluminium and glass. If blinds are not required then we can also apply vinyl designs or company logos to the glass in a variety of finishes. Glass partitions are good because they allow light to flow through the office space. Along with framed glass partitions we also offer frameless glass partitions which consist of full length double or single glazing.

Mezzanine Floor Planning Permission

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Usually when it comes to building work and development work the planning and development control has only be concerned with the external part of the building. This means that building planners could make internal changes to a building/warehouse without involving planners.

In May 2006 this changed as the control of internal operations went under the control of the local planning authorities. This means that any work that involves increasing the floor space of a building used in retail by more then 200 sq meters needs to have planning permission.

Therefore if your planning on building a Mezzanine floor internal its best to contact a member of our team who can help and review planning permissions before any work has been done.

To speak with one of our consultants about your storage needs, why not email us via our contacts page or call us today on 01491 8544590 to speak to a member of our consultancy team.
